The Naked Cake - Back to Basics

Lately I've just been oohing and aaahing over naked cakes. We are right back to basics where a beautiful cake still looks beautiful without comprimising the taste of the cake. I mean don't get me wrong; I absolutely love the artistic look of fondant cakes. You can't reproduce the stunning designs you get from fondant with say buttercream (altough they can get pretty darn close) but I'm not a huge fan of fondant myself. Again in terms of taste to all the cake people out there! So for me if I would be serving my wedding cake to my guests I would definiely want it to taste scrumptious. And these naked cakes my friends are nothing short of lovely and delicious.
